Charlotte li
Charlotte joined Urban Arts Architecture Inc. in 2018, bringing over eight years of professional experience, both locally and internationally, in the design and execution of projects focused on placemaking at various scales. Her passion for collaborative and integrated design has led her to work on a diversity of projects, including urban planning, contemporary landscape and public realm design, multi-unit residential and mixed-use developments.
Her dedication to design excellence and her thoughtful approach to project delivery are exemplified in the quality and rigour in which she executes each project, through client engagement and coordination with her project team to ensure the best results, from initial concepts to construction details.
Since joining Urban Arts, Charlotte has applied this diversity of experience to projects that serve local communities in Vancouver. She is devoted to creating spaces that contribute to vibrant and inclusive communities through timeless and thoughtful design.
Charlotte holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies with Distinction, both from Dalhousie University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
In her remaining time, Charlotte has been a visual arts instructor at Arts Umbrella, fondly introducing architectural concepts to children between the ages 4 to 12. She currently volunteers as a mentor in the AIBC Internship in Architecture Program and serves on the Chinatown Stewardship Legacy Group for the City of Vancouver.
