ABOUT

The Master Plan for the renewal of the Britannia Community Services Centre and its 18 acre urban site was a partnership with the City of Vancouver, Britannia Community Services Society, Vancouver School Board, Vancouver Public Library, and Vancouver Park Board. Over 3,500 people at 50 events were consulted to develop a cohesive community vision and to evaluate site development options. Undertaken with a reconciliation mandate, the Britannia Renewal project is actively working towards a sustained relationship of mutual respect and understanding with local First Nations and the Urban Indigenous community in both the project process and planning outcomes.
